- Enter the origin and destination
- Select a ‘Single’ or ‘Return’ ticket
- Select your date(s).
- Select the number of each ticket type you require and click ‘Go’
- select ‘Automatic Seat Selection’ or ‘Manual Seat Selection’.

Can you take a Bicycle in Irish Rail?
Yes. Bring a folding bike or children’s bike on board
To book a space for your bike:
Bicycles on InterCity Trains
- Customers must book bicycle spaces for Intercity services, in advance, Via online
- Bicycles are only permitted within the passenger compartment if they fit into the dedicated bike space on-board, with the exception of ‘Fold-up’ bikes.
Bicycles on DART and Commuter Trains
- Bicycles are free on DART and commuter services. Bicycles that are folded and covered can be carried on all DART and Commuter services with no time restrictions.
- Before 10:00 and between the hours of 15:30 and 19:00 Monday to Friday (bicycles are not permitted on DART ).
- Customers can travel with bikes all day Saturday and Sunday.
What is the size limit of bicycles in Irish Rail?
A bicycle can be carried up to maximum of 1.8 meters in length and up to 0.865m in width
